AN AMERICAN animal company has produced an album for dogs.

The creator’s of the CD claim that the music can soothe the anxieties of the four-legged variety whether they are at home or at the vet.

The music was created following extensive research into the sounds that canines love by Skip Haynes and Dana Walden who work at the Laurel Canyon Animal Company in the United States.

They were aided in the musical production by animal communicator Dr Kim Ogden.

Dr Ogden ‘spoke’ to dogs who had been selected by canine focus groups all over the United States about their musical preferences which were used to compile the CD.

Skip Haynes, founder of the Laurel Canyon Animal Company in Los Angeles said: “I started the Laurel Canyon Animal Company as a hobby for an animal lover and it has since turned into my business.

“We're the only record label in the world that creates music about, for and with animals and is dedicated to creating a bridge between humans and animals and all kinds through music. We have also created CDs about, for and with cats, parrots, a gorilla and pink dolphins.”
