Police appeal over death crash

Police investigating a rush hour crash which left two people dead are appealing for a jeep driver to come forward.

The accident, involving a car and a lorry travelling in opposite directions, happened at around 5.20pm on Saturday on the A947 near Banff in Aberdeenshire.

The drivers of both vehicles were declared dead at the scene.
