Developer quizzed over Forth bridge

The Forth Replacement Bridge will be delivered on budget and on time, managers for the £2.3 billion project have promised.

The 2.7km bridge linking Edinburgh and Fife is due for completion in 2016 despite the fact legislation enabling it to be built has not yet been approved by the Scottish Parliament.

John Howison, interim project director, told the parliamentary Transport, Infrastructure and Climate Change Committee that he was confident about hitting targets.
