Cuts mean fewer social homes built

The number of social homes being built will be cut unless the sector gets more money in the Scottish Government Budget, industry leaders have said.

MSPs will vote on the SNP administration's £30 billion Budget for 2010/11 when it reaches its first Parliamentary stage on Wednesday.

Housing campaigners said money for the "affordable housing" sector will be cut by more than £200 million next year.
