Age limit lifted for apprenticeship

Ministers are to abolish the age limit for apprenticeships in the hospitality sector, it has been announced.

There is currently an upper age limit of 20 for apprenticeships that receive public funds.

The barrier was discussed at a Government-organised apprenticeship summit earlier this year, and ministers said they would consider the issue.
