Government urged to help businesses
The Scottish Government is due to face calls to tap into more European funding to help businesses beat the recession.
Liberal Democrats say the SNP should follow the lead of Wales and use European Investment Bank (EIB) money to help small firms bridge funding gaps.
Party finance spokesman Jeremy Purvis said: "At a time of recession, Scottish business needs rapid action not Government spin and whinging about Westminster."
