MP under fire over blog comments

A Labour MP has come under fire after he branded teenage mothers a "national catastrophe".

Tom Harris MP said on his blog that young mothers were contributing to the "continuation of the underclass".

He said it was time to stop being polite when the actions of some people have a "debilitating" effect on the rest of society.
