Fun and games with Cambuslang and Rutherglen's Project 31

Free festive fun and games are coming to Cambuslang and Rutherglen, courtesy of Project 31.

As the festive season approaches Project 31 know it’s more important than ever for families to get together and have fun.

Three activities are lined up for December, all free and open to children under the age of 12 and their families.

On Saturday December 1 there will be a seasonal scavenger hunt and natural Christmas card making from 2-3.30pm in Overtoun Park in Rutherglen. It’s a chance to stay active as the colder weather approaches.

Christmas Story telling and decoration making for early years children and their carers will be on in the CTEC building in Cambuslang on Friday December 7 from 11am-noon, which will keep everyone cosy while getting busy with glitter and glue.

Project 31 will also be holding a family Christmas party on Sunday December 16 from 2-4pm at the Cambuslang Parish Church halls in Cairns Road. There will be a great selection of arts and crafts, fun, party food and games.

At 4pm, also on Sunday December 16, the Friends of Cambuslang Park are holding a Christmas singalong in the park to which all Project 31 party goers are invited.

A spokesman said: “Places are limited so book now as spaces fill up fast!
