THE police are looking for information on the following crimes.
THE front door of a flat in Western Avenue in Rutherglen was damaged at around 10.30pm on Tuesday July 14.
Police have not ruled out the possibility that it was an attempted break in.
VANDALS smashed the window of a Ford Fiesta that was parked near Rutherglen’s Landemer Gate.
The incident happened at around 12.40am on the morning of Thursday, July 16.
PASSENGERS on a bus escaped injury when someone smashed a window.
The bus was in Mill Road in Cambuslang at 1.50pm on Wednesday, July 15 when the incident happened.
A RUTHERGLEN pub which has become the target for young thugs was vandalised on Wednesday, July 15.
The Braes Inn, on East Kilbride Road, had the bottom panel of it’s door damaged.
The incident happened at around 10pm.
A TAX disc was nicked from a car parked on the grounds of Douglas Motors in Johnstone Drive, Cambuslang.
The thief targeted the Ford Mondeo between 9.30pm on Wednesday, July 15 , and 11am the next day.
A TEENAGER was assaulted by a group of yobs at the Tesco Extra store in Drumsagard.
The 16-year-old male was with friends at around 9.15pm on Thursday, July 16, when they were approached by a gang of about eight or nine other youths, aged between 12 and 17.
The thugs then threw stones at them and kicked the victim before they managed to escape to the nearby petrol station.
The boy who kicked the victim is described as being aged around 15 or 16, and he was wearing a bright green T-shirt and black bottoms.
A CAMPER van was set alight as it lay parked in Golf Road in Rutherglen.
Police are treating the incident, which caused around £5000 worth of damage, as willful fireraising.
The fire was started at around 2am on Friday, July 17.
CASH and jackets were stolen from a car in Rutherglen’s Watson Avenue.
The theft took place between 8pm on Sunday, July 19 and 7.30am on the 20th.
A HONDA Jazz car was damaged by vandals as it lay in Croft Road, Cambuslang.
Someone left a large dent on the passenger door sometime between 12.30 and 12pm on Sunday, July 19.
A CAR thief was frightened off when he tried to break into a vehicle in Rutherglen's Florence Gardens.
The thief tried the driver door and, when his attempts proved fruitless, he moved onto the passenger door.
However, he was then disturbed by the car owner who scared him off.
The suspect is described as male, with short, dark brown hair, a slim build, roughly 5’10” in height and he was wearing a long coat.
The incident happened at around 3.30 am on Sunday, July 20.
