Christmas cheer for Cathkin pensioners

PROVING that the festive season can be enjoyed by everyone were the pensioners of Cathkin who had a great party.

For they had as much of a thrill as the children at their parties, when Santa Claus showed up to spread some Christmas cheer.

Santa would later reveal himself to be South Lanarkshire Provost Russell Clearie, who was delighted t o see so many happy faces at the party.

All the pensioners had a great time and thanked the provost for his support.
