ONE of Scotland’s most popular comedians is set for a show at the Town Hall.
Craig Hill, who is widely regarded as one of Scotland’s funniest and talented acts, will be appearing on November 20, as part of his 40 Love tour.
As the title suggests, Craig’s 40, single again and back on the market.
And this means audiences can expect another dose of Hill’s cheeky, irrelevant brand of stand-up, which sees him mix bitchy observations, razor-sharp improvisation and his own brand of musical numbers, which have previously seen him sing rap classic Gangsta’s Paradise in the style of Julie Andrews and football terrace chant Who Ate All The Pies in the warbling tones of Shirley Bassey.
Having spent a decade entertaining crowds across the world, Craig has honed his comic timing and delivery to perfection, and will be coming to Rutherglen fresh off performing 40 Love at the Edinburgh Fringe, his tenth straight year at the bash.
This show’s sooo not about tennis... Craig’s 40, single and back on the market…And guess what – he’s having the time of his life… way hey!
His legendary comic timing and pitch perfect delivery are second to none.
No doubt about it – 40 Love…? will make you love 40!
He’s a regular face on TV, having hosted BBC Scotland’s Live Floor Show and their Hogmanay coverage.
That’s in addition to a stint as a roving reporter on the channel’s T In The Park coverage, while he’s frequently appeared on other comedy programmes too.
But his stand-up remains as sharp as ever, with an Edinburgh-based newspaper declaring that 40 Love shows Hill is “slick and professional” and “an excellent singer and dancer”.
Tickets will be priced at £12, or £10 for concessions and can be purchased from the Town Hall box office in person, or by calling 0141 613 5700.
Showtime is 8pm.
A Town Hall spokesman said: “Don’t miss the opportunity to catch this superb show, please be aware it contains some language which may offend
