Why was MP against revealing expenses before?

THE statement made by Mr T McAvoy MP regarding the expenses rip-off reeks of hypocrisy.

Mr McAvoy voted very strongly against a transparent parliament, so his statement is null and void.

He says he sits on a committee now to introduce interim reforms. How can he honestly sit on this committee, when he has fought tooth and nail to keep MPs expenses from the public eye? Sheer hypocrisy.

The people of Rutherglen and Hamilton West deserve better.
